Dr. Berke has been preparing forensic evaluations for the San Mateo County Superior Court of California and for the Santa Clara County Superior Court of California since 2003. He has been preparing forensic evaluations for the San Francisco County Superior Court since 2012. In March 2013, he was appointed to the Expert Witness List for the Alameda County Superior Court. In September 2013, he was appointed to the Expert Witness List for the Marin
County Superior Court.

He prepares court-ordered evaluations, including Evidence Code 1369(a) evaluations, Evidence Code 1017 evaluations, Evidence Code 1026-27 evaluations, 288.1 evaluations, and other evaluations. He has served as an expert witness in criminal proceedings.

He has 10 years of experience as a forensic psychologist in the Redwood City-Daly City Parole Outpatient Clinic (POC), which is the mental health component of the parole department. In that capacity he wrote initial mental health evaluation reports of mentally ill parolees. He also provided treatment to mentally ill parolees and to sex offenders.

He has 2 years of experience as a forensic psychologist at Salinas Valley State Prison.

He has 2 years experience as a psychological consultant to hospital-based chemical dependency programs at Riverside Hospital, North Hollywood; Marina Del Rey Hospital, Marina del Rey; and Seton Medical Center, Daly City.

He has 4 years of experience as a court-appointed forensic psychologist, child custody evaluator, and special master for the San Mateo County Family Court Services and the Santa Clara County Family Court Services
